A ROAD TRIP TO ADDO ELEPHANT PARK

In Route to Willamore © Noleen Kutash

Take the N2 from Cape Town to Addo National Elephant Park and stop in Riviersonderend for the best pies at Ou Meul Bakkery.  There are several amazing towns where you can overnight to break up the trip two boutique hotels that stand out amongst the rest; one situated in the Wilderness the other in Plettenberg Bay

Instead of staying in Addo, I selected to stay on top of Zuurberg at a majestic place called Camp Figtree.  I opted to stay here because I love peace and quiet and I must have something to look at from every room, Camp Figtree as far as I'm concerned ascribed to all my needs.  The staff were absolutely amazing and could not possibly have been more accommodating and the set menu for dinner excellent and so was breakfast.
